DMX began to rap in the late 1990s. He debuted his debut album The album It's Hot and Hell is DARK on the 19th of May, 1998. Among his other albums were... and There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... and then there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ Flesh of Flesh Blood of Blood. The album ... and then there was X was also nominated to win an Grammy for the Best Rap Album category in 2001. As well as his rap career, he has appeared in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Excit Wounds Never Be Alone and Never die in a room alone, bleeding Romeo Should Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
