Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. The most notable recognition was given to her for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the principal character Jerrica Jem Betnton, in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her childhood. The valedictory speech she delivered was that of her school at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to allow her in for a second entry because she was cast as "Nashville". Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally 2011 Grey's Anatomy (2005), as well as a character who appeared for the show Necessary roughness (1991). She appeared in made for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was a part of the cast for a major recurring role in the second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. In 2019, Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of the nation's top young actors.
